You will be part of HPB’s Healthy Ageing Programmes team, which strives to empower seniors aged 50 years and over to optimise their physical and functional health through the adoption of healthier lifestyle behaviours. Our work focuses on extending not just lifespan, but healthspan—ensuring seniors enjoy quality years of independent, fulfilling life. In this role, you will drive strategic initiatives and support the development of nationwide programmes that promote active ageing, meaningful engagement, and continued productivity among Singapore's senior population, contributing directly to the success of Age Well SG.
Scope
As a key member of Healthy Ageing Programmes team, you will support the review, adaption and implementation of an evidence-based programme, designed to enhance the functional health of at-risk seniors. You will work in a cross-functional matrix team, ensuring the programme is aligned with international best practices, national health priorities and remains scalable within HPB’s operating context.
You will facilitate collaboration with internal and external partners for programme implementation. Your role includes developing capability building and quality assurance frameworks to ensure consistent, high-quality programme delivery across multiple community touchpoints.
You will design and implement monitoring framework to track programme effectiveness and participants’ outcomes on an ongoing basis. You will establish data collection guidelines and create dashboards to enable real-time programme tracking.
You will contribute to the development of seamless service journeys that connect physically inactive seniors with appropriate interventions and services across the ageing landscape. You will work with key stakeholders across government agencies, mapping existing services, identifying gaps and design solutions to improve engagement, accessibility and user experience.

An ideal candidate will be a dynamic and self-motivated individual who thrives in collaborative environments and is passionate about improving health outcomes for Singapore's ageing population. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Degree in health sciences or related disciplines, with a preference for those with knowledge in sport science, public health, gerontology, or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence to build rapport, manage expectations, and facilitate collaboration across internal and external partners, including healthcare professionals, community partners, and government agencies.
Ability to navigate ambiguous, high-pressure situations whilst maintaining solution-focused thinking and positive team dynamics.
Strong sense of intellectual curiosity to learn and seek continuous learning.
Tenacity, resilience and adaptability in tackling challenges.

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
- Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
- Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.
Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
