What the role is

• Be part of a team to support digital transformation initiatives across all communications and engagements work processes, including media relations, digital and marketing communications, strategic communications planning, and stakeholder engagement. o Identify, pilot and implement technological solutions such as robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, cloud-based solutions and digital collaboration tools. o Conduct assessments, develop proof-of-concepts, and assist with the measurement of productivity gains for pilot initiatives. • Leverage digital content creation tools and platforms to support the ideation and production of innovative social media content and formats. • Use best-in-class social media management digital platforms to: o Optimise MOF’s digital presence across multiple channels, employing data analytics to enhance audience engagement and amplify understanding of MOF policies and initiatives; and o Conduct social listening and media monitoring, utilising AI to generate actionable insights and produce data visualisation for sentiment analysis. • Work with AI-assisted drafting tools to efficiently manage and respond to straightforward public queries, feedback, and appeals to ensure compliance with service standards.

What we are looking for

• Good command of the English language, with strong written and verbal communications skills. Proficiency in a second language is an advantage. • Good skills for content production including graphics and videos, and adept at tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, among others. • Familiarity with the use of generative AI. • Customer service-oriented, self-motivated and meticulous, with ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with tight deadlines. • A keen interest in and awareness of current affairs and national issues. • Team player with strong communication, interpersonal, organisational and project management skills.

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
