What you will be working on
Your key responsibility areas include:
Organise and facilitate key project meetings
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate regular project meetings including steering committee sessions, technical working groups, stakeholder consultations, and progress review meetings with appropriate attendees from TP, SPF headquarters, and external partners.
• Prepare comprehensive meeting agendas, briefing materials, and supporting documentation to ensure productive discussions and informed decision-making among all participants.
• Facilitate meetings effectively by managing discussions, capturing key decisions and action items, and ensuring all stakeholders have opportunities to contribute their expertise and concerns.
• Distribute detailed meeting minutes and follow-up communications to track progress on assigned tasks, escalate issues requiring senior management attention, and maintain clear accountability across project teams.
• Coordinate with various departments to secure appropriate subject matter experts and decision-makers for critical project milestones, ensuring the right personnel are engaged at the right stages of development.
Product strategy and stakeholder engagement
• Conduct thorough needs analysis by engaging with frontline officers to understand operational challenges and translate these requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
• Develop comprehensive product strategies in collaboration with the project team that align with SPF's digital transformation roadmap and enhance traffic police operations.
• Collaborate closely with TP officers, technical teams, and TP senior management to identify, conceptualise, and deliver digital solutions.
• Present strategic recommendations and project progress to senior leadership through detailed reports and stakeholder presentations at key meetings.
Product development and lifecycle management
• Oversee the entire product/project lifecycle from initial concept to deployment and maintenance, ensuring solutions meet stringent security requirements and government standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources while adhering to government procurement guidelines and IT governance frameworks.
• Coordinate with various units and departments within SPF, as well as external vendors and government technology agencies, to ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing police infrastructure.
• Ensure all solutions comply with government cybersecurity standards and data protection guidelines.
Change management and technology adoption
• Develop comprehensive change management strategies to help officers adapt to new technologies and digital workflows.
• Guide cross-functional teams through digital transformation initiatives, providing leadership and direction throughout implementation phases.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in digital government services to inform product development decisions.
• Establish training programmes and support systems to facilitate smooth technology adoption across TP operations.
What we are looking for
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and skills
• Field of studies in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
• Understanding of IT governance frameworks, with willingness to learn government-specific guidelines and cybersecurity standards.
• Excellent command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience
• Previous experience in IT project management, product management, or business analysis. Experience in government, law enforcement, or highly regulated environments would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of operational systems, process improvement, or public service delivery would be beneficial.
