What the role is

You will assist in the re-engineering of procurement processes to develop automation tools and/or data analytics dashboards to support analysis of procurement data for actionable insights.

What you will be working on

You will be involved in a variety of work assignments, such as 1. Assisting in the re-engineering of procurement processes. 2. Developing digital tools to automate and transform manual processes. 3. Designing analytics dashboards to visualise data for actionable insights.

What we are looking for

- Tertiary qualification in any discipline - Knowledge in procurement, data analytics and coding will be an advantage - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Organised and meticulous - Enjoys critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical work - Able to work in a team - Able to work in a fast-paced, challenging and dynamic environment

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
