What the role is
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective deployment of AI tools, validation of AI models, project management and monitoring of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and smart Internet-of-Things (IoT) solutions aimed at enhancing operational management of public areas. This role requires an understanding of AI technologies, video analytics training and IoT technologies.
What you will be working on
Plan and identify scope of works to manage key areas under the AI, AIbots and IoT projects including the deployment of AI tools, data management for machine learning, validation of AI models. Identify opportunities for digital solutions to support day-to-day greenery management operations.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of AI, IoT and video analytics technologies for monitoring operational performance in parks and public areas, including sourcing of relevant training datasets.
Performance Monitoring: Utilize AI and video analytics solutions to track and evaluate the operational performance in parks and public areas and provide regular reports.
Improving AI solutions: Work with the vendor on validation of alerts and data annotation to train and improve the AI solutions.
Data Analysis: Extract and analyse relevant data to identify trends that could support the operational teams in their work.
Quality Assurance of works: To ensure that any detected operational lapses are rectified in accordance with contractual requirements.
Creating of AI Bot for projects: Digitise existing operational workflows and project information to create a comprehensive dataset that maps national language to SQL queries.
Attend to related enquiries, troubleshooting issues and any other tasks as assigned.
What we are looking for
Understanding of video analytic, computer vision systems, object detection models and IoT systems (hardware, and software). Preferably with basic knowledge in video analytics and/or machine learning applications
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, e.g. toggling Excel functions, creating creative presentations
Basic knowledge in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Microsoft PowerBI would be an advantage
Experience in GIS data management, digitization and understanding of GIS concepts, proficiency in design software including AutoCAD and/or ArcGIS Pro would be an advantage
A team player with good communication, interpersonal and written skills
Meticulous, independent, proactive, and able to multi-task
Able and willing to work outdoors, occasionally on weekends and after working hours

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
- Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
- Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.
Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
