Science Centre Singapore is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Temporary Project Assistant to support the planning and execution of a wide range of engaging events and educational projects.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of promoting interest and learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
The candidate will work closely with the Events and Community Outreach Department, providing vital support in administrative, creative, research, and logistical areas.

What you will be working on
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of Science Centre events and outreach projects.
• Support the development of event-related activities, science kits, and workshops alongside educators and project officers.
• Conduct research on innovative and creative ways to communicate STEM education to various age groups.
• Explore and recommend new, trending methods for engaging youth in STEM-related events.
• Handle event logistics, including participant registration, preparation of materials, event set-up, facilitation, and collection of feedback.
• Maintain clear documentation of activities and support post-event/project evaluation processes.
• May be given the opportunity to take the lead on specific project components, based on demonstrated capability.
What we are looking for
• Strong interest in science or STEM education and community outreach.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinker with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and event planning.
• Prior experience in event management, education, or outreach is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Comfortable working with children, youths, and diverse audience groups.
