What the role is

The Judiciary - comprising the Supreme Court, State Courts and Family Justice Courts - is one of the three constitutional pillars of government in Singapore. What the role is You will be attached to the Human Resource Management (HRM) team, which oversees the full employee lifecycle functions, including a wide range of functions from recruitment and onboarding, benefit administration to performance management, manpower budgeting as well as strategic workforce planning and career development within the Judiciary. The traineeship offers you the opportunity to hone your HR data analytics skills through development of a Workforce Analytics Dashboard.

What you will be working on

You will be identifying and collecting required data sources, cleaning and combing data from different sources, to build a workforce metrics dashboard (e.g. headcount by division, vacancy rates, and staff turnover trends). The dashboard will support operational monitoring and strategic planning, while ensuring data accuracy and addressing missing data gaps/information.

What we are looking for

• Degree in any field with interest in HR • Intermediate knowledge in Excel • Knowledge in PowerQuery • Comfortable dealing with data and numbers The successful candidate will be appointed for a 6-month traineeship between January and June 2026. Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
