The Centre for Learning Systems (CLS) at HTA is responsible for conceptualising, planning, developing and reviewing the Home Team training and learning frameworks, programmes and initiatives to uplift Home Team trainers’ and curriculum developers’ professional training and learning competencies.

What you will be working on
You will be part of a lean and dynamic team that drives the development of assessment capabilities, first across HTA Centres, and then across the broader Home Team. Your work will involve:
• Driving the adoption of consistent assessment frameworks across HTDs
• Implementing standardised assessment practices
• Establishing common baseline standards and rigour in assessment practices across HTDs
• Supporting HTA's role as the Centre of Excellence for Evaluation and Assessment to connect HTDs with external organisations with E&A capabilities and promote sharing of T&L best practices among HTDs
• Addressing the training needs identified in the 2024 Training Needs Analysis study
• Reducing disparities in assessment practices across HTDs
• Articulating a HT T&D Professional Development Roadmap for T&D officers to upskill their T&D competencies in assessment
• Developing assessment competencies among trainers and curriculum developers through structured learning interventions
• Enhancing the existing HT Assessment Framework Resource guide
What we are looking for
• At least 3 years of working experience in training and development role.
• Possess tertiary qualification, preferably in education-related fields
• Industry qualifications such as WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Performance (ACLP), WSQ Diploma in Design and Development (DDDLP) as well as post-graduate qualifications in adult education or workplace learning will be an advantage.
An ideal candidate should demonstrate:
a. Drive to build new capabilities and operationalise existing initiatives to grow the expertise in Evaluation and Assessment.
b. Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
c. Integrity, teamwork and willingness to go the extra mile to deliver on work outcomes.
d. Strong data analytical skills
