What you will be working on
- Monitor latest developments in defence equipment development, production, and contracting programmes of interest to MINDEF and the SAF
- Manage all matters related to defence technology and defence industrial base initiatives
- Maintain strategic relationships with relevant agencies and partners
- Support bilateral initiatives and technology transfer programmes
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to inform Singapore's defence technology engagement with overseas agencies
Challenge(s)
- Understanding complex systems, processes and ecosystem with consideration of geo-political challenges
- Maintaining and expanding the network of contacts with relevant agencies while navigating complex stakeholder relationships
What we are looking for
- Education in Engineering or a related technical field
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in defence technology, procurement, or related fields
- Willingness to relocate overseas
- Knowledge of overseas systems, culture and environment is advantageous
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Highly motivated individual with demonstrated leadership abilities
