Manager (NS Relations & Engagement) - Dieppe Barracks

You serve as the primary liaison between National Servicemen (NSmen) and the National Service (NS) management system, ensuring optimal human resource management and administrative support for NS units under your purview.

- Act as the NS Relations Officer for assigned Brigade on all NS-related matters to ensure timely and effective follow-up with relevant agencies - Oversee optimal employment and deployment of NSmen through identifying staffing shortfalls and projecting future requirements - Manage NS succession planning, development, training and engagement programmes for NSMen - Provide contextualised advice to NS units and NSmen on relevant policies governing NS administration - Coordinate with relevant agencies to sustain and improve the NS experience - Oversee multiple ongoing case files and mediate deviation cases Challenge(s) - Staying attuned to processes that impact NS experience and effectively communicating updates to ground units and NSmen - Resolving complex issues that span various functional areas, requiring identification of issue nature and understanding of respective functional area responsibilities - Bridging differences between management perspectives and ground concerns

- Education in Human Resources or a related field - Experience in human resource management, administrative operations, or military/uniformed service background is preferred - Strong attention to detail, patienct, and self-directed - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Keen interest in NS management and human resource administration (Applicants with no experience may apply.)
