What you will be working on
- Act as the NS Relations Officer for assigned Brigade on all NS-related matters to ensure timely and effective follow-up with relevant agencies
- Oversee optimal employment and deployment of NSmen through identifying staffing shortfalls and projecting future requirements
- Manage NS succession planning, development, training and engagement programmes for NSMen
- Provide contextualised advice to NS units and NSmen on relevant policies governing NS administration
- Coordinate with relevant agencies to sustain and improve the NS experience
- Oversee multiple ongoing case files and mediate deviation cases
Challenge(s)
- Staying attuned to processes that impact NS experience and effectively communicating updates to ground units and NSmen
- Resolving complex issues that span various functional areas, requiring identification of issue nature and understanding of respective functional area responsibilities
- Bridging differences between management perspectives and ground concerns
What we are looking for
- Education in Human Resources or a related field
- Experience in human resource management, administrative operations, or military/uniformed service background is preferred
- Strong attention to detail, patienct, and self-directed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Keen interest in NS management and human resource administration
