What the role is

URA’s Media Relations and Digital Communications department is responsible for shaping positive public perceptions of URA’s efforts in making Singapore a great city to live, work and play. We do so by developing and publishing compelling stories and creative content across diverse media platforms to profile the many aspects of Singapore’s urban planning efforts and engage the public actively.

What you will be working on

As a Digital & Marketing Communications intern, you will assist the team in creating content for URA’s social media channels and support in executing digital communications and marketing strategies. You will also support the team in monitoring and reviewing activities happening on online and social media platforms as well as conduct research and experiment with new content formats and social media channels. • Conceptualise and produce an array of social content such as videos, reels, and graphics for URA’s channels, particularly for TikTok. • Support development and execution of social media campaigns, including influencers engagement and video partnerships • Conduct social media monitoring as well as assist the team with analysis on the performance of URA’s social media channels • Assist the team with the content and design review for the URA corporate website as part of a web revamp exercise Learning Outcomes • Hone creativity and storytelling abilities by producing engaging content for various social media platforms • Pick up hands-on experience in planning, developing and delivering social media campaigns and content, from setting objectives and identifying target audiences to crafting content calendars • Gain deeper understanding of social media analytics, learning how to track and interpret key performance indicators to measure the success of your content • Gain insights and skills in developing new content formats and setting up new social media channels that will expand the agency’s content marketing capabilities

What we are looking for

Internship Period: Full-time internship from Jan / Feb - May 2026 (6-months). To facilitate the hiring process, please state your availability, including specific start and end date in your resume or application form. • We are looking for students with a strong foundation in content production skillsets that can be applied to digital and social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram and TikTok) as well as those who are strong in storytelling and familiar with social media trends. • Students pursuing Mass Communication / Media & Art / Marketing / Broadcast Media & Cinema Studies NOTE: We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
