Architecture & Urban Design Group (AUDG) consists of a number of multi-disciplinary Departments – Architecture & Urban Design Excellence (AUDE), Urban Design, East (UD,E), Urban Design, West (UD,W), and Urban Design, Strategic Projects (UD,SP). AUDG's work in Urban Design contributes to the planning and urban design plans that guide and shape the development of key growth areas, strategic corridors, identity nodes, and strategic development projects both within and outside the Central Area.

What you will be working on
The intern will be involved in the planning and urban design for a large-scale urban corridor in the West / Central West region, including:
(1) Site analysis
- On-site documentation through a variety of media and drawings
(2) Conceptualisation & Narrative development
- Identification of proposed alignment for the corridor
- Setting out the vision & positioning
- Developing conceptual proposals for key nodes
- Detailed studies on streetscape and connectivity
(3) Visual Communication
- Preparation of visuals and other supporting documents
Learning Outcomes:
(1) Conduct comprehensive site analysis to ground proposals in built reality
(2) Understand the planning and urban design considerations behind the conceptualisation of a large-scale urban intervention
(3) Translate ideas into clear diagrams and other forms of representations as part of a compelling narrative
What we are looking for
Internship Period: Full-time internship from Jan / Feb - May 2026 (5/6-months). To facilitate the hiring process, please state your availability, including specific start and end date in your resume or application form.
- Undergraduate students pursuing Architecture or Urban Design related fields
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Powerpoint, Adobe InDesign, AutoCAD, Rhino / SketchUp, etc.
- Knowledge of generative AI tools will also be considered favourably.
