What the role is

The Service Delivery Division (SD) under SSP delivers services directly to residents and works with partners to uplift lower-income individuals and families, as well as destitute persons.

What you will be working on

Data collection, preparation and cleaning: Assist in collecting, cleaning from multilple sources and organising into accessible databases Data analysis: Perform statistical analysis and identify trends, patterns and insights from datasets Data visualisation and reporting: Design and develop interactive dashboards and data visualisation tools to support analytics and henerate regular reporting for various stakeholders Data management: Work with systems, ops-data and end users to manage and maintain the databases and to do system enhancement

What we are looking for

Proficient in: Databases such as Microsoft Excel Data visualization tools such as Power Bi and Tableau). Programming tool such as python - Analytical skills with ability to interpret data and draw meaningful correlations and has the attention to detail and accuracy - Collaborative mindset with ability to work across different teams

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
