What you will be working on

Job Responsibilities

Curriculum Development and Innovation

  • Design cutting-edge training programmes and curriculum that align with organisational objectives and cater to diverse audiences.
  • Integrate emerging career development trends, technology, and teaching methodologies into curricula and course design to enhance learner outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement through research, analysis, and creative problem-solving approaches.
  • Research and review framework and curricula, adopting a strategic approach to ensure alignment with national standards and best practices.
  • Design metrics and assessment tools to evaluate training program effectiveness and recommend improvements or updates of training materials and teaching aids, ensuring continuous development of engaging content.
  • Propose new course content, instructional materials, and learning activities that are relevant, engaging and innovative.
  • Ensure curricula meet accreditation requirements, regulatory standards and institutional policies.

Content Creation & Resource Repository Management

  • Research, develop and maintain engaging content including articles, toolkits, and multimedia resources for community digital platforms, ensuring materials are current, relevant, and aligned with capability development objectives.
  • Establish and maintain organised digital repositories and knowledge management systems, ensuring easy access, searchability, and regular updates to support ongoing community learning and development needs.

Project Management

  • Manage multiple projects from initiation through completion, including project planning, coordinating project activities, and managing resource and stakeholders to effectively ensure successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Develop proposals and create presentation materials.
  • Proactively identify potential project challenges and independently implement solutions to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Track project timelines, milestones and deliverables.

Training Delivery and Facilitation

  • Facilitate interactive learning experiences through online, hybrid, and in-person delivery modes.
  • Create engaging learning environments and utilise new teaching tools or technologies to enhance learners’ knowledge, practical skills, and professional capabilities.
  • Apply adult learning principles and adapt training delivery style to meet diverse learning preferences and group dynamics.
  • Evaluate the career development landscape and keep abreast of industry practices and standards.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback and performance assessments.

What we are looking for

Job Requirements

At least 6 years of relevant and demonstrated experience, preferably in curriculum development and implementation.

You should possess the following skill sets:

  • Curriculum development & content creation: Proficiency in content creation, including designing learner guides, training materials, and digital resources.
  • Project management: Proven ability to manage multiple end-to-end projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation. Strong project management skills to track timelines, milestones, and deliverables while ensuring timely execution and quality standards.
  • Training & facilitation: ACTA/ACLP certified with at least 3 years of experience facilitating adult learning and conducting assessments. Strong understanding of adult learning principles with ability to adapt training content for online, hybrid, and in-person delivery modes.
  • Industry & research expertise: Strong understanding of career development and workforce dynamics with ability to conduct research and transform complex findings into practical, innovative learning solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
  • Stakeholder management: Able to engage professionally across all organisational levels and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Written and verbal communications: Proficient in writing clear submissions and reports, and frame appropriate narratives to effectively engage different target audiences.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving: Able to analyse industry practices and standards to draw insights, recommend content refinements and identify practical solutions.
  • Personal effectiveness: Able to adapt agilely and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while responding to shifting priorities and adjusting project plans. Works effectively both independently and in teams.

Additional professional certification/training:

  • Certification in instructional design or adult learning (e.g. DACE/DDDLP) is an advantage.
  • Certification and/or experience in career development facilitation, human resource, psychology, counselling and/or coaching.
