What the role is
This traineeship role is to provide technical support and assistance to the staff/student from School of Business in a professional and efficient manner. It also includes supporting the computer lab and providing administrative/logistics support to school events/activities, if any.
What you will be working on
- Assist and support the school Loan System.
- Provide prompt and friendly assistance to query by users.
- Follow up with users to ensure their issues or inquiries has been resolved.
- Assist and support the technical lead in installation, configure and upgrading of software in computer labs.
- Assist and support the technical lead in ensuring the AV system is in working condition.
- Assist and support the technical lead during maintenance of facility performed by contractors.
- Support school other events/activities. Support will also be required if events/activities took place on weekend.
What we are looking for
- Diploma Graduate in IT or Audio/Visual related areas.
- Some experience in customer service and ability to work under pressure.
- Possesses understanding and knowledge on computer hardware & software, operating system (Windows/Mac OS) and common software applications like MS Office.
- Ability to work in team environment as well as independently when needed.
- Able to multi-task and adapt to changes in meeting users’ requirements.

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
- Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
- Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.
Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
