What the role is
What you will be working on
AI Solutions Development:
1) Develop a solution to manage audit and inspection checklists and track Corrective Action Notices (CANs) usable by external auditees
2) Develop AI programme to supplement safety oversight of aeronautical meteorological services
Answer queries on organisational setup (including equipment and specifications) of MSS and the weather services provided
Answer queries related to Singapore weather and climate
Rapidly retrieve historical weather data or guide users to the weather tools (e.g. live radar, SIGWX, METAR)
Interpret MOS-MET regulations and provide guidance
Provide intelligent document search in ICAO Annex 3, PANS-MET, ICAO METSG/working group/information/panel paper
Data Quality & Analytics:
Assist in data cleaning, validation, and transformation to ensure high-quality datasets
Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau to communicate regulatory insights effectively
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and identify inconsistencies or gaps in aviation datasets
Develop comprehensive documentation of data processes and contribute to the improvement of data governance practices
What we are looking for
Strong IT skills and technical proficiency with AI platforms and data systems
Experience with AI platforms and data systems
Understanding of aviation regulatory environment
Ability to work with restricted/sensitive government data
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
- Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
- Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.
Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
