You will join the Financial Reporting & Services (Ministries) Directorate which oversees the central finance operations and the administration of key AGD central systems. The Financial Reporting team is responsible for preparing the annual Government Financial Statements for statutory reporting to Parliament and addressing audit queries from the Auditor-General's Office.
What you will be working on
Your responsibilities will include:
• Participating in the development and implementation of new central solutions to streamline processes or improve user experience. Specifically, you will be involved in the development and implementation of enhancements in the Government financial system in relation to the InvoiceNow initiative;
• Working with internal and external stakeholders to perform system enhancements through evaluating solutioning options, change impact assessment, user acceptance testing, user change management and deployment of solutions to operationalise business or policy requirements;
• Addressing queries from both internal and external stakeholders on InvoiceNow or other solutions/ enhancements implemented; and
• Contributing to policy and process reviews, and implement automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
What we are looking for
Functional/Technical Competencies
• Tertiary education in Accountancy, Business, Finance, IT, Systems Management or any related disciplines.
• Ability to provide sound analysis and recommendations on issues to senior management for decision making.
• Good knowledge of automation skillsets like Python, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and coding skills is a plus, but not mandatory.
