Executive Manager/Assistant Director (Centre for Capability and Knowledge)
What the role is
What you will be working on
This role requires a performance focused individual who can balance strategic planning with operational excellence to drive organisational competency-building and performance.
You will develop and implement comprehensive learning policies aligned with organisational objectives, conducting regular reviews and facilitating stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth adoption of new procedures. Working across departments, you will plan organisational competency frameworks that advance NEA's strategic priorities, identifying skill gaps and coordinating appropriate development interventions.
Your role includes establishing data management frameworks, maintaining databases and visualisation dashboards, and conducting analysis to present key performance indicators to leadership. You will manage the annual training budget, forecast requirements across multiple programmes, monitor expenditure, and prepare financial reports whilst directing learning technology system development. You will also facilitate performance indicators for learning initiatives, develop measurement frameworks, and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement and accountability.
What we are looking for

- At least 5 years of relevant work experience
- A fast learner and self-starter, with a “can do” attitude
- Adaptable and motivated to continue to learn
- Like working with people and data, with a keen interest in environmental sustainability
- Have good story-telling skills to convey complex concepts and insights across to target audience in simple, engaging narrative and presentation
- Have working experience in stakeholder engagement and management, event management, marketing communications and/or partnerships
- Relevant experience in Learning and Development, Human Resources or Information Management would be advantageous
