What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be working closely with business teams to review and re-engineer existing processes, map out business requirements, and develop or update data engineering (e.g. extraction, transformation, loading). This role also requires you to review and update new/revised scripts for workflow automation and web scraping, and dashboards for monitoring and analysis.
What we are looking for
Programming and scripting skills to develop workflow automation solutions, web scraping tools, and create monitoring dashboards for business analysis
Proficiency in engaging stakeholders and communication skills to work closely with business teams, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions that support digital transformation initiatives

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
- Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
- Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.
Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
