What the role is
What you will be working on
As a HR Trainee, you will be an integral part of LTA’s Human Resources team, contributing to key HR functions with a strong focus on digitalization and process improvement. You will gain hands-on experience across areas such as HR business partnering, recruitment operations, and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Digital HR Initiatives: Assist in the digitalization of internship and HR operations using tools such as Workday, Excel, and AI Bots. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate and enhance HR system functionalities.
HR Business Partnering and Process Analysis: Work closely with the HR Business Partnering (HRBP) team to understand core HR processes and collaborate with Centres of Excellence (COEs). Map and analyse HR processes, simulate user journeys, and identify opportunities to streamline, digitize, or automate manual tasks. Present insights and improvement recommendations to the HRBP team for further exploration and implementation.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Support recruitment activities including candidate screening, shortlisting, and interview coordination. Assist in preparing onboarding materials and facilitating orientation sessions for new hires and interns.

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
- Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
- Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.
Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
