What the role is
What you will be working on
This role requires a strong foundation in Microsoft-based development tools combined with excellent documentation skills to support the supervision of financial institutions' technology risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and enhance TCRD’s internal supervision toolkits to support supervisory processes, including technology and cyber risk and control assessment of FIs
Update supervision toolkits to reflect changes in the supervision frameworks and methodologies, and ensure ongoing compatibility between toolkits and dependent systems
Develop and enhance existing user guides and documentation for the toolkits for knowledge preservation and identify opportunities for system improvement
What we are looking for
Proficiency in Visual Basic programming
Experience in Microsoft Access (including forms), Excel, SharePoint
Basic understanding of API calls for data integration between applications
Familiarity with visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI
Ability to create clear and concise documentation

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
- Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
- Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.
Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
