Architecture & Urban Design Group (AUDG) oversees urban design in areas outside of the Central Region, to safeguard a well designed public realm. The Group also promotes architectural and urban design excellence through events, exhibitions, prizes/competitions and funding initiatives to celebrate.

What you will be working on
- Urban design of large precincts (e.g. assisting in 2D and 3D simulations and drafting; assisting in research; quick renders; testing new methods to do UD - environmental simulations, AI).
- Helping out with and attending events planning (e.g. World Cities Summit)
- Doing research, analytics and providing support for the Lee Kuan Yew World Cities Prize (e.g. improving the prize process and creating dashboards and digital tools)
(note that internship scope will be tailored to the right intern based on background)

- Gain deeper insights and understanding on planning, design, and activation of public spaces
- Research skills
- Learn how to put together information in a visual, coherent and comparable manner
- Exposure to industry developers and designers
- Sharpen their 3D modelling and graphics skills
- In-depth understanding of good urban initiatives in selected cities and emerging urban trends
What we are looking for
Internship Period: Full-Time internship from Jan - May 2026 / Feb - Sep 2026 (6-months). Please state your availability, including specific start and end date in your resume or application form.
- Polytechnic / Undergraduate students currently pursuing Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Studies), Public Policy, Design and Artificial Intelligence (DAI) or relevant fields in the Built Environment.
- Familiar with photoshop, AutoCAD, Sketchup, ChatGPT (or any other Generative AI platforms). Ability to vibe code and/or use programming languages is a plus.
