What you will be working on
The National AI Group (NAIG) within the Smart Nation group is responsible for driving the implementation of our refreshed National AI Strategy (NAIS 2.0), in partnership with government, industry, and research stakeholders.
You will be part of the Policy and Strategy team within NAIG:
KEY RESULT AREAS:
• Experiment and incubate approaches to tackling emerging, cross-cutting issues and opportunities in AI.
• Assess the implications of geostrategic, economic, technological, and industry developments in AI on NAIS 2.0 and shape Singapore’s possible responses to these developments.
• Ensure alignment and coherence of various AI initiatives across the Singapore government to NAIS 2.0’s desired outcomes.
• Contribute to overall strategy formulation and policymaking at MDDI, given the cross-cutting nature of AI.
• Work across government agencies and other entities to acquire and allocate necessary resources (e.g. finance, manpower, collaborations) to support the NAIS 2.0 agenda.

• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
