You will lead a section in charge of the comprehensive maintenance of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) and SCADA equipment in the Department to ensure that equipment is reliable, resilient and efficient at all times. Experience in network equipment and cybersecurity knowledge will be an advantage.

What you will be working on
• Maintenance of remote control, automation of IPU valves, tide gates in drains, supervision of scheduled preventive maintenance of the Instrumentation & Control equipment in the various raw water pumping stations, pond stations, tidal gate installations and drainage pumping stations.
• Familiar with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems design such as the Purdue Model to ensure compliance with cybersecurity code of practice, programming of PLCs and configuration of communications network.
• Maintain SCADA systems to comply with cybersecurity requirement such as conducting annual risk assessments, bi-annual VAPT and subsequent cybersecurity remediation work including configuration of firewall, patching of computer software, hardening of operating system and network administration.
• Familiar with SCADA communications protocol such as MODBUS and DNP3 protocol, control drawings terminology and technical acronyms.
• Attend to breakdown of SCADA systems, PLCs and RTUs, and instrumentation equipment failure and be able troubleshoot, diagnose, perform software programming tasks and be able restore systems to their original operational state.
• Manage subordinate officers including planning and delegating of work
What we are looking for
• Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Network & Systems Engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering or equivalent.
• Network Certification such as Cisco Certified Network (CCNA), Netgain Certified Professional (NCP), Huawei Certified ICT Professional or equivalent would be advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience.
• Candidate with Class 2 and/or 3 license is preferred.
