What you will be working on

The cybertech leader will drive greater assurance in Transport Cybersecurity and ensure governance compliance in cyber and data security. He / She will collaborate with MOT agencies’ CISOs to level up cyber and data security capabilities. As a cybertech leader, you will oversee and drive cyber and data security across Transport Ministry family of Statutory Boards. In this role, you will work as part of the MOT cybersecurity team on the following: (Policy) 1. Formulate policies, strategies, frameworks and initiatives to strengthen cybersecurity posture of Singapore’s transport sectors at the Ministry level covering Aviation, Maritime and Land Transport, including reviewing and assessing the cybersecurity capabilities and plans at sectoral level, covering both the MOT agencies and their key industry partners. (Governance) 2. Responsible for all regulatory oversight and governance of Critical and Important Information Infrastructure systems (CIIs & IIIs) owned by Transport Statutory Boards (i.e. LTA, CAAS and MPA), including regular reviews of Risk Assessment reports and Audit reports in accordance with Cybersecurity Act and IM8 requirements. (Capability Development) 3. Monitor latest cybersecurity trends and technology developments to apprise senior management of the implications and applications to Transport cybersecurity. 4. Collaborate with agencies’ CISOs to develop capability development roadmap including R&D plans for funding approvals. 5. Partner key stakeholders in Transport Statutory Boards and transport operators to strengthen the cyber resiliency of the transport sectors’ critical and important information infrastructures (CIIs & IIIs) against cyber threats and to ensure the continuity of the essential services. (Situation Monitoring & Response) 6. Developing and monitoring key risk indicators for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) at the Ministry level. 7. Providing technical leadership and expertise to advise SBs in timely response and remediation of cybersecurity incidents and system vulnerabilities discovered. 8. Provide independent assessment to senior management on cybersecurity and data security incidents. 9. Engaging and providing timely updates to senior management on cybersecurity and data security issues that straddle across Transport Statutory Boards.

What we are looking for

• Relevant Cyber security or Information Assurance technical competencies and work experience preferably in recent 3 years • Adaptive, self-driven and able to work with stakeholders. • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills • Prior work experience within or in collaboration with government agencies (e.g. MOT, Govtech, CSA, DSTA) will be preferred.
