What the role is
What you will be working on
The trainee will be focusing on conceptualising and establishment of data driven and AI-enabled solutions such as AI & Data platform and CRM/Volunteer Management platforms
Product & Business Support
Support IT Product Managers in the day-to-day management of AI, digital, data and CRM/Volunteer management platforms,
Assist in gathering and documenting problem statements, business, and user requirements
Work closely with various teams e.g., technical & design personnel to ensure solutions align with users, business, and organisational needs,
Contribute to product roadmap planning, release preparation and prioritisation discussions,
Help maintain accurate data records, ensuring quality and compliance with governance standards,
Collaborate with IT, business and data teams to ensure smooth integration of platforms with wider systems & workflows,
Help maintain documentation, training guides, and user support materials
Provide first-line product support to users, escalating issues as required,
Proactively suggest improvements to processes, features & user support.
What we are looking for
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our IT Product Management Traineeship program, gaining first hand experience in managing and supporting digital products. This role provides exposure to both AI data platforms and CRM/Volunteer Management platforms, enabling you to work alongside IT product managers in delivering digital solutions that meet real business needs. You will learn how technology products are designed, implemented, and continuously improved while developing essential skills for a future career in product or business technology roles.
Requirements
Fresh graduates in IT, Data, Computer Science, or related discipline
Strong interest in digital products, CRM systems, AI/Data platforms and technology-enabled business solutions
Good analytics, problem solving and communication skills
Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
Curiosity and eagerness to learn in a fast-moving environment

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
- Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
- Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.
Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
