What the role is

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented School & Community Outreach Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of outreach programmes, leveraging digital platforms and tools, to build knowledge, shape attitudes and influence behaviours among youths towards making greener transport choices.

What you will be working on

• You will be responsible for developing and implementing digital engagement and outreach strategies to engage schools and youths (across all levels) on LTA’s goals and initiatives, policies, and projects to encourage more sustainable commutes. 
• You will design, manage and implement blended learning programmes, such as virtual workshops and interactive web content to spark interest among youths in promoting more sustainable commutes among peers. These could include partnership with relevant stakeholders to co-create relevant outreach programmes. 
• You will manage a data analytic dashboard and define a set of performance metrics to better measure the effectiveness and impact of LTA's programme and engagement efforts, ensuring a data-driven approach to continuous improvement. The data insights will also allow the division to better coordinate outreach efforts and establish long-term relationships with stakeholders based on a data centric approach.

What we are looking for

• Knowledge in Communications, Education, Marketing or related fields.  
• Strong problem-solving, networking skills
• Excellent communication (both written and spoken), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
