What the role is

Join our Data Innovation team as Assistant Manager/Manager and help shape Singapore's data-driven future! We're seeking a passionate individual to design and execute programmes that help businesses unlock the power of data whilst building trust. You'll contribute to impactful projects such as accelerating the adoption of privacy-enhancing technologies and developing new approaches to data innovation. The team partners leading local and international business communities and global, forward-looking think tanks to drive innovative use of data and strengthen Singapore’s position as a trusted global data hub.

What you will be working on

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement programmes and frameworks to help businesses unlock the power of data
  • Promote the adoption of privacy enhancing technologies to help business use data in a trusted and safe manner
  • Stay abreast of global data policies and trends, analyse their implications for Singapore and develop relevant responses and interventions.
  • Create impactful collaborations with industry to advance Singapore’s interest.
  • Collaborate with other public sector agencies to ensure data related initiatives in Singapore are aligned across sectors.
  • Drive Singapore’s thought leadership by participating at relevant international forums

What we are looking for

Requirements

  • Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar role, preferably in data related technology
  • Good understanding of technology that supports data use
  • Keen interest in learn new data related technology and global trends
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong presentation and engagement skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to work with both local and overseas partners and stakeholders.
