What the role is

This traineeship with the Assurance, Care and Engagement (ACE) Group. ACE Group works closely with stakeholders to enable a resilient ecosystem to support the well-being of migrant workers so that businesses have access to workers who are productive and appreciated by the community.

What you will be working on

This traineeship offers hands-on experience in capability development, with a focus on building officer competencies through structured frameworks and data-driven insights. The trainee will gain exposure to how learning and development strategies are shaped, tracked and communicated across the organisation. As part of the team, you will consolidate information from different branches into a structured database, design and refine dashboards to track capability growth and document existing training programmes for easy reference. You will also support communications by preparing clear and engaging presentations to share capability development progress with stakeholders.

What we are looking for

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and clear written communication abilities. • Familiarity with data organisation, spreadsheets or basic database management will be an advantage. • Self-motivated and able to work independently whilst maintaining high standards. • A meticulous in work and commitment to accuracy is essential for this role.

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
