As Workforce Singapore (WSG)’s media relations officer, you will develop and execute public communications strategies to support the organisation’s objectives. In this role, you will conceptualise, plan and execute media activities to drive publicity and awareness of WSG’s programmes, ranging from events, pitches and collaborations.

What you will be working on
You will also be engaging with the media, external partners and internal stakeholders to increase awareness of WSG and adoption of our programmes through media coverage.
- Identify and develop media opportunities that highlight WSG’s programmes and initiatives
- Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop media materials
- Ensure consistent messaging across media materials including media releases, speeches, talking points, Q&As and pitching of feature stories
- Coordinating on media support requests from divisions
- Attending to media queries
- Oversee daily media monitoring for WSG
- Assist in media duties during events
What we are looking for
- Qualifications in communications, media or other relevant disciplines
- Between 3 to 7 years of relevant working experience
- Excellent written communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-starter, proactive, able to work independently and is a good team player
