Closing on 30 Jan 2026

What the role is

In this role, you will champion "innovation-as-a-service", helping corporates leverage technology to achieve their business outcomes and contribute to Singapore's digital economy. You will work closely with corporates to understand their business needs, guide their digital innovation journeys, and enable successful outcomes through two key products:

(a) Open Innovation Platform (OIP) - our national digital marketplace that connects corporates with innovative solution providers through crowdsourcing challenges. Through OIP, you will help organisations transform their business challenges into opportunities for digital innovation.

(b) IMDA PIXEL - our innovation experience centre where corporates can explore and engage with emerging technologies in a tactile business-contextualised manner. Here, you will facilitate hands-on technology discovery and adoption.

What you will be working on

Industry Engagement and Project Management:

  • Drive Corporate Innovation: Identify and engage corporate partners, articulate OIP’s value proposition, and convert/onboard them for innovation challenges. Apply design thinking principles to help partners define and refine challenges, uncover user needs, and translate business requirements into clear, actionable briefs
  • Lead Innovation Challenge Management: Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle of multiple innovation challenges, coordinating across challenge owners, solution providers, and internal stakeholders. Use a consultative and facilitative approach to guide ideation, solution development, and evaluation towards achieving meaningful business outcomes
  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute strategies for key stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships with corporates, identifying opportunities for deeper collaboration and value creation
  • Grant management: Leverage appropriate grant instruments to drive partnerships with industry, accelerate sector-level innovation, and drive impactful sector use cases
  • Data-driven: Leverage historical data, market research and industry trends to develop and refine engagement strategies, while establishing quantifiable metrics to track and measure innovation project outcomes

Requirements:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in industry-facing/corporate-facing roles, digital innovation, innovation consulting and management, or related fields
  • Demonstrated experience applying design thinking, service design, or user-centric innovation frameworks to help organisations identify challenges, ideate solutions, and validate opportunities
  • Proven ability to facilitate or lead design thinking workshops, particularly in problem framing and solution scoping, engaging cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with the innovation ecosystem (e.g., corporate innovation roles, technology accelerators, incubators) is a plus
  • Strong ability to adapt to changes, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage, influence, and facilitate across multiple stakeholder levels
  • Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, and strong problem-solving abilities, with a drive to turn ideas into tangible outcomes

What we are looking for

Why Join:

  • Be part of a young, vibrant, fun and transforming team to strategise, refine and execute the OIP product for the next bound.
  • Shape the ethos of a start-up in government, being scrappy, running fast and lean, and failing forward.
  • Rare opportunity to co-develop and drive an innovation platform in government, to benefit corporates, industry at large and the economy at scale.
  • Enjoy a collaborative environment where you can work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including ecosystem and industry partners, innovation community groups and government agencies.

Position will commensurate with experience.

Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
