What the role is

There are two roles for Legal.

The first would entail legal training background to aid Legal in preparing, developing, refining and implementing the standard form template documentations for the Legal Division. This entails manuals, forms, and legal instrumentation templates. Areas of work include contracting and insurance. Trainees are expected to also be introduced to legislation drafting and international aviation law fields.

For the non-legal role, trainees are expected to support administration and development of the Legal Division’s administration procedures, as well as prepare the Division for presentations which the Legal Division will hold on an ad-hoc basis. The roles will also be involved in addressing procurement related matters, and do research on international aviation related subjects.

What you will be working on

The roles will evolve around Internal projects, for example in insurance matters and in procurement related practices and documentation,  both in procedures, processes and in the additional administrative and research support for the same.

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
