Deputy/Assistant Director, Enforcement (Corporate Surveillance) (Contract)
What the role is
What you will be working on
You will work closely with other regulatory bodies including the Singapore Exchange Regulation and the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority in monitoring corporate disclosures and financial reports, and conduct inquiries to assess listed issuers’ compliance with the securities law and accounting standards. You will be expected to keep abreast of changes in securities law, listing rules and accounting standards, and be able to apply them while having regard to the commercial substance of the transactions undertaken by listed issuers.
You can be expected to be challenged intellectually and professionally as you work closely with regulators, investigators, as well as industry practitioners. You will gain insight into Singapore’s equity market and the regulatory framework governing listed issuers and fund-raising activities.
What we are looking for
Relevant experience or degree in Accounting, Auditing, or forensics preferred
Passion for investigative and regulatory work
Have a questioning mind and meticulous
Strong analytical, communication skills and writing skills
