As an Assistant Director (Data Management and Analytics) in the Pre-school Education Branch (PEB) of Schools Division, you will be part of a passionate team committed to raising the quality of pre-school education in Singapore. You will provide strategic leadership and set directions in developing a centralised data management and analytics framework, champion digital transformation and innovation to enhance efficiency, strengthen data governance, and build organisational capability. What you will be working on
• Lead the conceptualisation, development and implementation of a centralised data management and analytics framework that supports policy, operational and quality improvement workstreams
• Drive digital transformation by identifying opportunities for innovation and implementing digital solutions that improve efficiency, data access and decision-making
• Develop data governance frameworks and standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements
• Define key performance indicators and analytical priorities that strengthen evidence-based planning, resource allocation, and service delivery
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technology partners to design and integrate digital systems that meet policy and operational needs
• Lead and guide a team of Senior Data Managers and Data Manager to deliver quality insights, build organisational capability, and promote a data-driven culture across the PEB
What we are looking for
• At least 7years of relevant experience in strategic planning and policy formulation, leveraging technology for data-driven decision making and/ or data management, analytics, or digital transformation, with demonstrated leadership in strategic or cross-functional projects
• Strong understanding of data governance, analytics, and performance management frameworks
• Proven experience in leading organisational change or driving digital transformation initiatives
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead team(s), and collaborate effectively across diverse functions
• A strategic and forward-looking leader who values innovation, integrity, and continuous improvement
