As a Character and Citizenship Education Officer (CCEO) (Uniformed Groups), you will help shape the experiences of students in the National Uniformed Groups -National Cadet Corps (NCC), National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) or National Civil Defence Cadet Corps (NCDCC), and implement programmes to support their character, citizenship and leadership development.
For CCEO supporting NCC, you will be based in NCC Headquarters (229 Ang Mo Kio Street 66, #01-02, Amoy Quee Camp, Singapore 567759).
For CCEO supporting NPCC/NCDCC, you will be based in Home Team Academy (501 Old Chua Chu Kang Road, Singapore 698928).

What you will be working on
• Support the implementation of CCE 2021 through Uniformed Groups (UG) programmes that develop character, leadership and citizenship values, in partnership with NCC, NPCC or NCDCC
• Guide and support schools in running quality UG programmes, through coaching and developing Teacher Officers, helping them improve curriculum delivery and facilitation
• Supervise the planning and conduct of UG activities, including both local and overseas programmes, and ensuring activities meet safety and educational standards, aligned with national UG directives
• Collaborate with UG strategic partners (i.e. MINDEF, SPF, SCDF) to identify, plan and implement enriching UGHQ organised programmes, including national competitions, parades and leadership courses
• Coordinate logistics matters and perform administration functions (eg. secretariat duties) and manage manpower resourcing and planning, in line with operational needs
What we are looking for
• Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
• Good communication skills, ability to articulate effectively and demonstrate sound analytical thinking
• Prior experience in the Uniformed Services would be an advantage
