What you will be working on

  • Develop, test, and deploy machine learning (ML) and LLM solutions to analyse complex datasets in support of organisational goals.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot and refine the performance and scalability of AI applications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data engineers, data analysts, product managers, and domain experts to deliver timely and relevant AI solutions.

  • Research, evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance AI capabilities.

  • Undertake other responsibilities as assigned to support NYP’s transformation efforts.

What we are looking for

  • Relevant academic or professional qualification equivalent to a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in developing data science or ML projects.

  • Technically proficient in Python, SQL, data preparation, use of data science and ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas).

  • Knowledge of data engineering principles and architecture, AI operations tools and methodologies (e.g., MLOps, CI/CD) and BI tools (e.g. PowerBI).

  • Experience in deploying and managing AI applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Databricks) would be an added advantage.

  • Strong written and presentation skills, analytical and innovative, thrives independently in a collaborative working environment.
