What the role is

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

This traineeship offers a unique opportunity to develop and execute content for digital/social media marketing purposes, plan and run events, and work with clients and other stakeholders on industry projects. This role is designed to build your capabilities in creative strategy, content development, project and stakeholder management.

You will develop key competencies in:
• Project & Operations Management: Overseeing the workflow of projects from start to finish.
• Stakeholder Relationship Management: Acting as the key liaison between the agency and its clients.
• Creative Strategy & Execution: Contributing to the creative direction and production of media content.
• Data Analytics & Reporting: Tracking project performance and providing insights to stakeholders.

What you will be working on

·       Develop project plans, manage timelines, and coordinate resources for various design and media projects.

·       Assist in the creation of video content and other media assets, providing both technical and creative input.

·       Prepare and deliver regular progress reports on project status.

What we are looking for

·       Recent graduate in a relevant design, media, or communications field.

·       Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and an interest in using AI tools for content creation.

·       Strong understanding of video content creation, including production workflows, social media platforms, and performance analytics.

·       A positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

·       An excellent team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
