What the role is

You will join a dynamic team responsible for managing work pass applications for foreign employees. Your role centres on maintaining the foundational integrity of foreign employees’ identities by carefully assessing data amendment requests, balancing foreign employees’ legitimate needs for corrections with the critical requirement to preserve identity accuracy and data integrity. You will ensure that the right persons are brought into Singapore for employment while upholding the integrity of the Work Pass framework. You will also address queries pertaining to work pass application procedures and data amendments and take part in user acceptance testing for system changes.

What you will be working on

• To handle escalated customer enquiries on Work Permit application procedures and worker data amendments, including complex cases requiring specialised knowledge and resolution skills • To coordinate with customers and external agencies such as the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority to facilitate document collection and conduct information verification processes for worker identity validation • To review and rectify worker profile records to ensure data accuracy, correct mismatched profiles, and maintain data integrity across worker databases • To support system enhancement initiatives by conducting user acceptance testing (including reviewing functional specifications) and providing feedback on system updates and improvements

What we are looking for

• Possess good customer service and communication (written and spoken) and stakeholder management skills • Possess good analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills • Be a good team player with a customer-focused mindset • Be proactive in problem solving and adaptable in dealing with different situations and handling multiple portfolios/tasks • Be able to handle difficult customers, work independently, adapt to fast and complex changes; and handle multiple tasks/portfolios *PWDs are welcome to apply
