Financial Control and Reporting, Traineeship [GRIT@Gov]

• Be part of the team working on Global Sustainable Tourism Council Destination (GSTC) Certification for Singapore to affirm Singapore's sustainability efforts. Facilitate annual sustainability audits, which is requisite for certification

• Manage the organisation of Sustainable Tourism Conversations, an annual industry event, bringing together key players in the tourism industry, from event planning to event execution.

• Be involved in the computation of tourism sector's annual carbon emissions for assessment of industry performance.

• Support STB’s sustainability reporting which includes curation of contents for STB's annual sustainability report and validation of data used for reporting.

• Lias with internal and external stakeholders for the implementation of STB's sustainability strategy.

• Communicate sustainability reporting requirement to ensure alignment with reporting standards and industry best practices.

• Work with appointed consultants to enhance STB sustainability report and develop sustainability playbook to help industry players.

• Showing good business acumen, analytical thinking and judgement

• Strong project management with ability to follow-up on tasks in a timely manner

• Strong communications and stakeholder management skills

• Background in communications, sustainability, business or finance.
