What the role is
Lifestyle & Attractions (LAD) champions the development of new attractions and lifestyle offerings to strengthen Singapore’s position as a leading tourism destination. Be part of the team that supports the development of these vibrant industries and bring exciting concepts to live.
What you will be working on

1.Business & Industry Development
a.Engage both local and international partners to anchor new attractions and lifestyle concepts, as well as support initiatives to refresh and rejuvenate existing offerings via grants.
b.Support various key industry development initiatives such as the rollout of the attractions sustainability roadmap.
2.Deriving Actionable Insights from Data
a.Oversee data collection, management, analysis and sharing of attractions data to enable informed decision-making by industry stakeholders.
b.Analyse trends to identify opportunity areas for further engagement with stakeholders to drive tourism business growth.
3.Project Support
a.Monitoring of stakeholders' deliverables following STB's support (e.g. tenders), including tracking deadlines and liaising with stakeholders for proof of work.

-Good stakeholder management skills and keen ability to foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
-Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to details
-Ability to interpret and establish connections between data points and draw insights

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
- Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
- Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.
Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
