Assistant Manager / Manager (Procurement)
What the role is
What you will be working on
As part of our collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions through various responsibilities:
Review procurement documents to ensure full compliance with the Government Instruction Manual (Procurement) and NHB’s internal procurement policies, managing timely pre-publication, publication and award processes through GeBIZ.
Serve as an effective business partner to NHB divisions on procurement matters, providing procurement-related guidance such as performing market sensing, sourcing process, contract renewals and variations while building strong working relationships across NHB.
Work closely with NHB divisions to establish NHB’s Period Contracts and Framework Agreements that meet NHB’s unique heritage-focused procurement needs.
Contribute to formulating, reviewing and streamlining NHB’s internal procurement policies and processes, ensuring full alignment with the Government Instruction Manual (Procurement). You will also participate in exciting transformation projects to digitalise procurement processes and educational resources.
Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing opportunities for NHB divisions, helping to build procurement capability across NHB.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a dedicated individual with keen interest in procurement governance and genuine enthusiasm for public service and heritage:
Tertiary Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in public sector would be advantageous, but fresh graduates with strong aptitude and keen interest to pursue a career in procurement are welcome to apply.
Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good written, verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated team player who can work independently and collaboratively
Strong ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
