What you will be working on
Participate actively in media monitoring and analysis to track key developments in domestic and international news, and provide timely insights to support strategic decision-making.
Support media engagement and management efforts, including preparing media briefs, drafting responses, and coordinating with media outlets to ensure accurate and effective communication of Singapore’s policies.
Assist in developing narratives and content that help the public better understand government policies, initiatives, and programmes.
Strengthen community connections by facilitating communications that link people to the government, opportunities, and resources that matter to them.
Contribute to MDDI’s mission of engaging hearts and minds by ensuring communications are clear, timely, and aligned with national objectives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure coherent messaging and consistent public communications.
What we are looking for
· Possesses at least 4-5 years’ experience in communications.
· Have a strong understanding of socio-political and current affairs in Singapore.
· Proficient in English and Chinese.
· Able to network effectively at all levels of the organisation, work independently and as a team player.
· Able to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing situations and multiple uncertainties.
Good analytical and writing skills to break down complex objectives and considerations into clear and accurate deliverables.
