What the role is

What you will be working on

The trainee will collaborate closely with various teams to deploy and enhance AI-driven tools such as Copilot, aiming to boost operational efficiency across workflows. You will play a key role in identifying repetitive or labor-intensive tasks and designing automation strategies to simplify and accelerate these processes. Additionally, you will evaluate current work practices and propose forward-thinking improvements by leveraging AI and other productivity-enhancing technologies.

What we are looking for

Knowledge in civil engineering, project and facilities management.

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
Graduated or graduating in 2024, 2025 or 2026 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024, 2025 or 2026.
Applicants must have no prior working experience and must be prepared to commit to a full-time traineeship.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2026 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2027 are eligible for the programme as well.
