What the role is
What you will be working on
1. Evaluate applications for bus service licences, monitors the operations of the bus services to ensure compliance with the licensing conditions.
2. Manage the procurement and deployment of autonomous vehicles (AV) on public bus services.
3. Review and digitalise business processes with the use of Robotic Process Automation / Artificial Intelligence to reduce reliance on manpower and improve productivity.
What we are looking for
1. Possess strong communication skills with an excellent command of English language – able to prepare and deliver clear written, verbal, and visual proposals to senior management (e.g. presentation, papers, and communications materials).
2. Have knowledge/skills to develop RPA / AI.

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
- Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
- Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.
Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
