What the role is

You lead a team in improving service standards in MINDEF/SAF through people development and partnerships with other organisations.

What you will be working on

- Benchmark MINDEF's service performance against public service and industry standards - Develop service delivery professionals by creating competency frameworks and career pathways for Quality Service (QS) Practitioners - Build service culture through communications and engagement - Manage QS awards frameworks and drive the Secretariat function for the Quality Service Management Committee (QSMC) - Establish partnerships with public and private organisations - Manage requests from other ministries on service delivery matters Challenge(s) - Building a service culture in MINDEF/SAF by obtaining stakeholder buy-in - Addressing resistance to change and breaking down silos - Aligning the organisation towards a common service vision

What we are looking for

- At least 6 years of work experience - Experience in HR and/or events organisation is advantageous - Excellent people skills to engage stakeholders in MINDEF/SAF - Creativity in problem-solving to navigate roadblocks at work - Passion for service delivery and energy to inspire the team - Ability to push boundaries in events organisation and communication Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
