This role is with the Events & Conferences Unit, under the Communications & Engagement Division (CED), at the Ministry of Law. We are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Director / Senior Executive (Operations) to support and coordinate design, logistics, and technical operations of key events organised by Ministry of Law. You will play a key role in the event planning and execution, ensuring seamless delivery of in-person and virtual event experiences.
Please note that the contract period will be from January 2026 – November 2026.

What you will be working on
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead logistics planning and on-site management for hybrid workshops
• Manage end-to-end operations for conferences, ensuring on-time and high-quality event execution, including logistics planning, vendor and venue liaison
• Coordinate with creative teams on the design and visual production aspects of conferences
• Oversee the set-up of a virtual platform for live streaming of events.
What we are looking for
This is a temporary contract role. We are looking for candidates who can start work in January 2026, and can commit to the full 11-month duration.

• [Conceptualisation and Design]: Conduct research to support content creation for programme development
• [Programme Implementation]: Implement, monitor and control all aspects of a programme, strategically utilising resources to achieve the objectives within the agreed timelines, costs and performance expectation
• [Project Execution]: Plan and execute projects in an effective and efficient manner
• [Project Timeline Management]: Manage project timeline to achieve project objectives and deliverables
• [Resource Management]: Plan, organise and manage a project/ programmes to be completed within stipulated scope, timeline, budget, and quality
*Work Experience / Personal Traits*
• Minimum 3 years of experience in events operations or related fields.
• Experience managing hybrid and virtual event platforms.
• Skilled in technical coordination, especially with design and graphic production teams.
• Strong project management, time management, and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving event needs.
• Competent in creating structured documentation and production rundowns.
• Familiarity with conference AV production, graphic/visual design supervision, virtual event setup, and/or event tech platforms (registration tools, live streaming, virtual event platforms) will be an advantage.
