What the role is

This role is with the Events & Conferences Unit, under the Communications & Engagement Division (CED), at the Ministry of Law. We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Director / Senior Executive (Events) to lead, coordinate, and execute event strategies and logistics for the Ministry’s high-profile events. This is a role ideal for a detail-oriented individual who has a strong background in event management, branding, and stakeholder engagement.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the set-up for conference and workshops, including logistics planning, vendor and venue liaison • Oversee liaison work for 40 – 50 partner organisations, managing registration, website listings, and live streaming requirements. • Plan and organise the conference speakers dinner, handling vendor engagement, guest lists, and venue logistics

What we are looking for

This is a temporary 8-month contract role. We are looking for candidates who can commit to the full contract duration. *Key Competencies Required* • [Conceptualisation and Design]: Conduct research to support content creation for programme development • [Programme Implementation]: Implement, monitor and control all aspects of a programme, strategically utilising resources to achieve the objectives within the agreed timelines, costs and performance expectation • [Project Execution]: Plan and execute projects in an effective and efficient manner • [Project Timeline Management]: Manage project timeline to achieve project objectives and deliverables • [Resource Management]: Plan, organise and manage a project/ programmes to be completed within stipulated scope, timeline, budget, and quality *Work Experience / Personal Traits* • Minimum 3 years of experience in the events industry or related fields. • Proven track record in managing large-scale conferences and hybrid events. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. • Ability to prepare clear and concise project documentation and timelines. #LI-SW1
