As a Planning Officer in the Education Policy Branch in the Planning Division, you will play an active role in the formulation, review and implementation of key education policies and reforms to support MOE’s work in the general education space.

What you will be working on
• Review, design, and implement changes to mainstream education policies, such as the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE), Direct School Admission (DSA), post-secondary pathways, and Edusave
• Shape policy recommendations through close collaborations closely with other Divisions to factor in detailed professional (e.g. curriculum design) and operational (e.g. school governance)
• Conduct detailed analysis of student and school outcomes to evaluate impact of recent policy moves (e.g. Full Subject Based Banding)
• Chart and coordinate Ministry-level strategic and corporate planning initiatives, while working with other government agencies for Whole-of-Government coherence
• Handle complex public feedback and appeals on issues such as student’s progression
