Senior / Lead Manager – School Cockpit Administration Centre (SCAC)

What the role is

As a Senior/ Lead Manager for School Cockpit Administration Centre (SCAC) in the Schools Division, you will spearhead the management and evolution of our student management system and related applications, as well as work closely with schools, MOE Headquarters (HQ) Divisions, and external vendors to drive excellence in educational administration.

What you will be working on

• Drive strategic alignment between SCAC initiatives and broader Branch/ Division’s policies to meet evolving educational needs, operationalise key school processes, and leverage on data in the student management system • Partner HQ Divisions and external vendors in overseeing the end-to-end development, enhancement, and maintenance of the student management system and any other related applications, while ensuring robust system security and compliance with financial protocols • Pioneer the integration of AI and emerging technologies to develop innovative solutions and modernise administrative workflows, to enhance operational efficiency for schools and HQ Divisions • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making processes • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programmes and resources for system users, including guiding schools on strategic use of data from the student management system This is an individual contributor role. What we are looking for

• A highly organised, dynamic and meticulous team player with an eye for detail and a good appreciation of the larger educational context and/ or landscape • Possess strong data literacy and analytical skills, intellectual flexibility and innovativeness • Excellent people management and communication skills • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment • Experience in leading teams and/ or a good grasp of emerging technologies and agile development practices would be an advantage As part of the processing of your application, you may be required to undergo a medical examination that will be fully paid by MOE.
