As a Senior Manager / Manager (Data Office), you will join the Operations Planning Unit / Data Office within VITAL's Central Services. You will drive data capabilities across analytics, platform development, and governance to strengthen our organisational data maturity. This role combines analytical work with data management, including policy development and governance oversight. You will work with functions to enable data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions and operational improvements across the organisation.

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Data analysis and insights generation using Power BI and other tools to create dashboards and reports that support operational planning and resource allocation decisions
• Data management policy development including drafting data management policies, reviewing data governance frameworks, and establishing best practices for organisational data stewardship
• Data quality and catalogue development to map, organise, and validate organisational data assets for improved data discovery and analytical capabilities
• Data platform support contributing to our Data Hub approach through Microsoft Power Platform exploration and development activities
• Cross-functional collaboration with various divisions to understand data needs and develop appropriate analytical solutions
What we are looking for
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in data analysis, data management, or business intelligence roles
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Excel, and statistical analysis software
• Technical competency in data handling and manipulation, with experience in SQL, Python, or similar tools for data analysis
• Understanding of data governance principles including data policy development, compliance frameworks, and organisational data stewardship
• Experience in data management, platform implementation, or setting up data hubs will be advantageous
• Stakeholder management and communication skills to collaborate effectively across functions
• Fresh grads with relevant qualifications and internship experience will be considered
